Make sure all the pipe work is clipped secure, if you cannot reach all of it say behind cupboards or boxing push some foam insulation on it to avoid any vibrations. Check your inlet valve on the cistern it may be worn causing pulses reverberating back up the supply pipe. Pete

Could be a non return valve on the pump letting by, or if you have mixer valves they could be alowing cross flow which leads the pump to think it has a flow demand and so it activates for a few seconds. Pete

What cavity insulation are you using as rockwool and celotex have diff values. If you get stuck for cavity space a thermal laminate plaster board would bulk up your u values. Pete
