that won't work if he's getting a disk read error. if you put it in a caddy and it reads then it may be fixable through those routes, then replacing the sata cable and trying another slot on the motherboard.
i don't understand why every mac user is so defensive of their product.

try this, its the vista driver, there isn't and will probably never be a windows 7 driver for it.
this seems to be a new thing with hotmail, if it is set to remember you i.e automatically log in then its fine, but if not you now have to manually put in your e-mail and password each time.
Kodak printers are terrible, they have really cheap print heads that get blocked all the time, the ink is not that cheap and they are slow.
The ONLY good point i can see in them is the barcoded recognition that changes the configuration depending on the paper.
