Dishwashers are usually cold water fed only. Usually have heating element in them which may be broken.

If it is a pump over run boiler, guessing it could be a Baxi Solo the circuit board controls pump over run. Sounds like circuit board is not shutting pump off, could need new circuit board, 'expensive'!

They actually look like they've been added on to the rads, rather than made as part of them, if that makes sense. They're like a small (prob inch to 2 inches) chrome-type tube down near the pipe on the bottom left corner. The key fits in the top of the tube & opens the valve at the bottom...

Only a Corgi registered installer can work on copper gas pipes. Sorry If your hob is via a rubber hose it is ok for you to connect and reconnect the cooker. Most the hobs I have seen though are on rigid pipe work. Happy to help

Does this clicking noise sound like it is sparking or like a relay? This qiute a difficult boiler to fault find on so I'll probably be asking you a few questions before we get to the route of the problem. I don't think it is the gas valve though. Happy to help :wink:
