best way is to strip it,fill it ,then put on a good quality lining paper(1000 grade)

hi.i have a glowworm combi boiler SWIFTFLOW 80.I've noticed it as lost pressure so i have tried to restore it with the filler pipe,but the pressure doe's not go up.the water put into the boiler comes straight back out the overflow pipe.ant ideas.could it be the pressure valve????

sorted.somebody came round(corgi man),cleaned around pilot light area,put a new thermocouple in.£40. :D

it used too do that.now the pilot light goes out ,i have to re-ignite it the boiler fires up for about 5 mins.rads get hot.then pilot light goes out.it seems that when the boiler needs to fire up again,thats when the p/light goes out.normally the p/light is always on.

hi.i have a glowworm swiftflow 80 combi boiler.when i put the central heating on,after about 5 minutes the pilot light goes out(click noise from boiler).the bar pressure is set right.when using just hot water(for baths,washing up)everythings ok.any ideas?

how much would i be expected to paya engineer for repairs on a glowworm swiftflow 80 combi boiler. replace pressure relief valve. replace 2 water valves.both have been leaking(dripping)now +then replace filler (top up)system. drain system =refill i live in nottingham

hi i have a glowworm swiftflow combi boiler.just recently the pressure has been dropping below the 1mark on the pressure gauge.i have topped it up every morning. water seems to be coming out of the overflowpipe,as there is a puddle of water on the floor every moring.any ideas??????
