The expansion vessel has ruptured. And auto air vent has failed. May require a new pressure relief valve. Nath

The switch on the programmer? Or do you have an immersion switch? It could be a zone valve if you have 2x2 port valves. Or the cylinder stat. Abit more info on the system you have would help us. Nath

Try putting some water through it, see if it leaks. It might just be the design. Nath

Did you get a freebie? If you did the installer might have wanted to fit it and leave. If not I would get your installer back. A few settings should be checked regarding the way your boiler works. If it was a grant then save yourself a few quid and get an engineer to check it over and check...

How do you shut off the CW? If stop tap you checked any mixer taps, showers? Passing back into the cylinder? Nath

You may have crossed the pipes. Diaphragm split. So check the pipes first. If there ok then turn your hw tap on does the boiler do anything? If not then more than likely diaphragm. If it does then you could be looking at divertor valve, motorised head. Nath

Chantelle you are wrong I'm afraid. Thermistors have all types of roles within an heating system. Anti scale, frost protection etc. so these can cause the pump to run without demand. Nath

Have they ever been hot before? Had any recent work done to your system. If you have just one floor level of rads on do they become warm? Is there water in the system? Do you have thermostatic rad valves what are they set to? Nath

I'd say a sledge hammer and a skip. But if it was me I'd be getting Ravenheat to look at the boiler. It's under warranty. Nath

More than likely flow sensor is faulty.

Do you have any dripping hotwater taps? Nath

First I would check the engineers badge to see if he his qualified to work on warm air. More than likely it will be an honeywell gasvalve which are readily available. Nath

It will be an oring that requires replacing. Vaillant is my choice of boiler. Just get one with a good warranty. Nath

Freezing will work on mains. Or you could add another stop tap after the stop tap. Shut off best you can and snatch it. Plenty of towels down. Nath
