Already tried this from a previous post - installation I believe is OK. I have explored this option previously hence the suggestion from Myson to increase 15mm feed pipe to 22mm

A slip coupler "slips" up and down the pipe so on a vertical section it will slip down the pipe while trying to solder - I guess

thanks for prompt response. My concern is holding the coupler in place as with a standard coupler there is a ridge in the middle which will hold the coupler in place

Will be cuuting out some pipe work in cold feed area of central heating system due to partial blockages. I have thought about using 22 mm slip couplers to ease reassembly. How should you keep the slip coupler in place on a vertical section prior to soldering ?

I am pretty confident that it is draining becuase when I was draining the system I did not prop up the ballcock and the system was emptying quicker than it could fill.

Rather than cut into pipe I was hoping to heat up the t connection and remove the pipework. Replace 15mm feed pipe with 22mm - replace leg to pump 2ft. Other pipe which is only 4" long, I was hoping to scrape out and leave in place. Does that sound like a good plan?

It is too hot to touch 2 feet above "t" connection. If there is a blockage would it be possible to connect a mains feed to vent pipe and reverse flush
