Aren’t pipes clipped to breeze blocks in new builds?

So would you suggest expanding foam? Or just use more plasterboard adhesive foam than I would if using expanding?

What’s the difference between clipping pipework to a wall in comparison with clipping it to a skirting board? The flow pipe will only cover a distance of 50cm whereas the return will cover 1.1m. I can’t expect much heat loss?

Yes I will have plastic pipe behind wall so will need a 90 degree plastic elbow
