    Overflow problem

    Change the float valve in the main storage cistern (big black one). It doesn't drip during hte day because U are using the water. At night it gets a chance to build up. :lol:

    Cor blimey don't they go on? I have nothing but bad things to say about Halstead. Pricey parts. Poor quality compared to others. I once told the Halstead rep that because the boiler was called the "best" didn't mean it was. He didn't see the funny side. :wink:

    Replacing the pcb with the new one complete with rewiring will be easier than reading your way through all the posts above. I only said it was easier because those 4 little screws are a pain to undo.

    This is going to depend on your location. Out here on the essex coast I charge £45. Don't matter to me what boiler. Some take longer then others but that a bit of give and take. :)

    pop up waste plug

    Is there any sealant under the fitting to the basin? If the other bits don't work you'll have to unscrew it and dry it off then seal it with some silicon.

    I've had to unblock a 28mm blocked cold feed. So they all can block.
