Generally the pump will only kick in when the temperature is cold ....I think the new head is too much for the old pump as well as it has just started leaking on the cold outlet .....I'm going to change the pump on weekend and hopefully this will improve (techflow tp 60) There's also 2 filters...

Changed to an overhead rain style shower and the pressure has greatly reduced......would going up to 22mm help ?

Though not shown in the picture there is a pump feeding 2 showers with one of the showers branching off to the left ,the pressure in this one is not as good as the shower fed by the vertical pipes... Could thus be due to the natural action of the pump pushing water pass the branch off ?[/img]
