Hi Gas central heating

Hi I am replacing a Eberle type 15015 room thermstat with a Danfoss Retb one, the Eberle has 4 wires going to it. one yellow, one red, one blue and a earth, the Danfoss only needs 3 wires. my question is does the Danfoss not need the earth wire? many thanks
