Hi I have a combi boiler heating working fine, hot water working fine upstairs. Only tap downstairs is a mixer tap in the kitchen, when I turn to hot, boiler not clicking on and only cold water coming out of tap. Feel like maybe the pressure has changed as well as water not coming out as fast...

Many thanks didn't get the chance (or need to) reduce the pressure. Its now sitting at around 1 when system is cold but going up towards 3 before I'm freaking out and switching it off. Turning hot tap on seems to bring it down a bit. How long can the system survive on this basis, as you can...

Pressure was showing at below 1 bar so topped it up. System went up to above 3 when heating was running (above red line) which has freaked me out a bit. Is there anyway to get the pressure back down a bit. Its sitting at 2 at the moment, but it hasn't cooled down yet.

The next morning after receiving these replies the shower worked and has worked fine since. Yesterday morning it wouldn't come on at all and seems to be broke now. I wondered if before it was simply the pressure and had resolved itself but now I reallise that its probably the shower after all...

Alright I've found out what the Multi Meter is - I'm getting out of my depth here we have no plumbing heating experience whatsoever and this isn't something we have or plan on buying. Wondering if we can change the part and if doesn't work return the part - I'll phone the shower people...
