The question regarding this "standard" radiator ..it is likely to be an imperial measurement,not the now standard Metric.

1200 with rad extensions,newer 1/2" valves and pegler type extensions look best. As for "off the wall" pipe measurements (wall to centre of pipe) different brands have different sizes If you post this measurement someone will know what rad suits best

Also if the HE version is actually new...how can you tell if it will be ok in a couple of years? It is an unknown
