A powerflush works by using a centrifugal pump to create high flow,any excess pressure is put into the machine by nature of the pump design

They are both zone valves One is heating one is hot water One of them is on the pipe going into the cylinder...thats the hot water one Open the other one manually to test if is faulty

If either of the valves is shut,no hot water will go down either pipe Does it have a thermostatic valve or is it normal valves? If it does have a thermostatic valve it then it could be stuck,if it is no hot will go there

I spoke to a colleage today who has seen a pressure reducer on the mains cold,and pumped hot and it was working fine Needs nrv on the mains too

So this is happening even when you have not used any taps for some while ??
