Get rid of the fire! Maybe look at adding some extra controls on to your central heating system, like thermostatic rad valves, if you have not got them installed. Graham

Out of those two, go for the Broag. Assuming you only have a shower and/or a bath, then a 28kw would suffice. The broag is one of the smallest and quietest boilers on the market. Graham

As already stated all you need do is isolate boiler electrically, by any of the ways that bengasman has stated. Why do you want to isolate the boiler anyway? Touch those valves and they will leak, causing pressure loss, and then you will have to keep topping the boiler up. Graham

I like and have fitted many stuart turner monsoon pumps, with no problems. Samamander are OK as well.
