Need advice on what looks to me a bad job so far.

I would say,IMHO from the pictures that it is not a good job so far, but then as you say it is not finished yet. What does look finished is the boiler. What a lash up. They could of used a spacer frame to get the pipework neatly behind the boiler. Where the two 22mm pipes, flow and return, run...

New worcester bosch 37cdi boiler pressure issue.

No, pump up pressure and shut the flow and return. If no loss showing on boiler, then definitely heating side. How long is it taking the pressure to drop. If it is a while, then it only needs to be a very small weep on a rad valve etc, which is maybe drying out, when the heating is on

    Power Flush

I would look at putting some sludge dissolver in two weeks before the boiler is changed, then powerflush before newboiler fitted.

    filling line

When you say filling line, do you mean a flexible filling loop or an integral one to the boiler? If the latter what boiler?

    Mixer Shower - no pressure

The pressure of 2 bar. is for for the cold main coming in I would imagine. As you have a gravity system, for you to get that on the hot you would need the cwsc to be 20 metres above the shower head. You do not need a combi boiler. Either a dedicated shower pump for that specific shower, opr...

    Gas (not very) Safe

I would contact the council by writing, to ask why they are using iilegal gas fitters. A while ago a builder I know went through the council to be an approved contractor. The council wanted to know who his subbies were and details, copies of certificates etc. It is a difficult one. Do you...

POWERMAX -To replace or not ? and then, with what?

Fitted a few of these with good results. I would say it would be an ideal replacement for what you have. They also have an immersion built in incase of boiler failure, you still have hot water. Not had any complaints about them

Flushing the system, crud in radiators.

Forget it. You pay rent. It is the landlords problem. While he may be gracious in you sorting out his cruddy rads, he wont be as gracious if he has to get someone in to sort out any problems resulting from the flushing

    Electric pipe freezer

I have used them on pressurised systems before, with no problems. Maybe the freezer is not freezing properly. You could try wrapping wet cloths around the pipe, by the freeze head to aid in the freezing process. It might be a case that you have to do each rad one at a time

    Baxi 105 HE pressure problems??

It sounds as though you have a leak on the system somewhere. You should have a pressure relief pipe exiting to the outside, somewhere under your boiler. Is the end of this pipe dry? Any wet/damp patches underneath the boiler? How long does it take for the pressue to drop?
