    heres whats in the loft , 1 cold water tank with vent from secondary system (without hole in the lid!!) , and 1 F&E tank with no vent going to it which was why i asked my original question. Both tanks dont seem to have overflow pipes either!

    Ok thanks for that , i always thought this system was vented and the primary system had a vent pipe that bent over into the F&E tank??! Or maybe that was in the olden days!!

    Remember that the condensate is slightly acidic so you dont want it dripping against your wall for long.
