I agree with jacobball - our country is losing it's origin and fast, we need to make a stand. Would Usa or Australia for eg put up with what we do?? NO!!!!!!!!! Also, I don't vote BNP but those who dismiss them are as bad as them, not given them a view or any democracy as they put it, they are...

Baxi 105e Combi - Fires up but no Hot Water - Arrgghhh

Could be a lot of things. Do the rads heat up when the HW is on? If so the diverter could be leaking/passing a bit Could be a faulty thermistor Could be a gas pressure fault What's the flow of the hot water, is it fast / slow? Does the fault happen when the flow is very high ...

    PCB faults - the signs...

Thank you for your kind reply. I do understand operating sequences, how to fault find coponents of a boiler to a certain degree, but was just wondering what would cause a PCB to be the failure component. I know sometimes they can have burn marks on them, smell, etc .... also some may have...

    PCB faults - the signs...

In general what are the signs of a faulty PCB in a boiler? Is there anything obvious? I have been reading various posts on this site out of interest and some say the board is the cause of a fault, eg/ Hot water fault, ignition fault, etc and just wondered what the signs / tests were to prove...

Worcester 28i Junior Combi - Hot Water fault

Ok thanks a lot for your kind help. I will test tomorrow morning when fresh. What's the best way to test the thermistor as well, will check for both whilst have the case off. The gas valve hasn't been touched so it can't be that anyway (unless they can alter on their own)? But I...

Worcester 28i Junior Combi - Hot Water fault

I'll test the turbine then. I missed that bit from the boiler manual, what page is that on!!? If it is at fault, are they hard to change? One other point, could the fault be due to flow rate at boiler incorrect or gas pressure ? Or thermistor?

Worcester 28i Junior Combi - Hot Water fault

Thanks for your help - after reading the boiler manual and following it (no fault code shown though) it doesn't say the flow turbine can be a cause though. The boiler always fires up when a hot tap is opened, it just goes cold after a minute or so. It isn't condensing ut is not that old...

Worcester 28i Junior Combi - Hot Water fault

Hi I have the manual. Have been serahcing and some posts say that a faulty thermistor, or even the incorrect water flow rate through the boiler, or incorrectly gas pressure's can affect this problem. Is this true? Can I test for any of these (apart from the gas problem obviously)??
