    Cold Radiators

Thanks how do you get it into the system? And it says it makes the stuff smaller so it stays in the system but doesn't cause issues elsewhere? Do you just leave it in there forever or does it have to come out after a certain amount of time? I presume it can be used on the plastic and copper...

    Cold Radiators

Yes that's correct all the other radiators are cold and the problematic one is still cool and yes its a new radiator about 4 months ago. Ok so would I need to get it power flushed maybe if its blocked? I have read that it gets rid of sludge and clears the pipes. Thanks James

    Joining Boards

Hi All, I am looking at making this around 30mm thick and I have found some laminated pine on Ebay for about £15 which is big enough for my needs. However I am unsure if I can then stain it afterwards or what laminated pine even is properly. I have sash clamps and I have watched a few videos...

    Cold Radiators

This was the issue before the new TRV was installed and its a new radiator as well. Erm possibly but the boiler has been moved in the past 3 years with new piping putting in. I will still give it a go to see what happens.

    Cold Radiators

Thanks I do have a few questions. What is a dropped loop? What kind of cleaner would I need and how do I put it in the system? Its a new TRV so t should be fine but I will have a look and see what happens. The radiator is just a normal radiator nothing fancy.

Thanks for the replies. I have tried turning off all the TRVs to 0 and the radiator in question is still doing the same after an hour with the boiler being on. Thanks James

Thanks for the suggestions. I am not sure what you mean @big-all when you say flip the grain and double up on the edge? Do you mean literally just glue the edges together? Thanks James

    Joining Boards

Hello, I am looking at making a semi circular table however it needs to have a radius of 300mm. I have looked and I cant find any board which is this size so I am figuring I have to join them in some way. I am thinking that I just glue the edges together and clamp them down so that they stay...

    Cold Radiators

Hello, We have recently had new radiators put in with the exception of two (about 4 months ago now) and we have had a new boiler around 2 years ago. However the problem with the radiator in the living room remains the same. It is warm at the top and cool at the bottom like it has a little bit...
