    i've had a new roof laid on to ply and i've painted the underside of the ply with a fungicidal wash as there was a few signs of mould getting into the wood,this was around two months ago but the underside of the ply is still damp in places ,i soaked it decently but i thought it would have dried...

    yes i suppose so.. i want to run a heated fan down there to help dry it all out do you think it would help?

    I had a felt roof put on my shed around a month ago,it was proper torch on two layer felt layed on to a ply surface but at the time we had so much rain and the felt was layed in semi wet conditions.On the underside of the ply decking it still feels really damp to the touch but being in a damp...

    thanks guys that really helps,how long can i leave it before i finally get to coat it up with a waterproof solution as i've only weekends to put it on? So if i complete say two sides will it be ok to leave it bare untill i next have time in say a week?And do i fill all screwholes before painting?

    i'm about to clad my outhouse with shiplap but not too sure whether to start at the bottom or top of each wall.I'm tucking up under a soffit so is it best to start at the top ...if i start the lengths on the bottom then i may have trouble slotting in the top length..any clues lads?

    you could use a polythene sheeting over your battens and then fix the normal boards over the top ,it'll do the same job

    I have the slab down and want to start laying the blocks to my shed,but i'm not sure if the dpc runs underneath the first course or do i lay it on top of the first course..any ideas ...thanks
