    Moss on Roof

Think most of the pro roofers are of the general opinion that moss is not really too much of a problem for roofs. However it can get to be an issue if it starts blocking gutters etc. I recently removed the moss from my roof myself (more for cosmetic reasons) using a long reach extension pole...

    Eaves tile and a half

Thanks both. Wasn't sure if to keep the nibs on the underside of the tiles. Guessing the two nails will be sufficient based on your comments.

    Eaves tile and a half

Redland plain eaves tiles: Anyone know if they make eaves tile and a halfs? Can't seem to find them on a search. Do people just get the normal sized tile and a half then cut down the leading edge to fit the eaves course?

    Screwfix newbies

Is it just me or does anyone else find it most frustrating when after having placed your click and collect order online, or or filled in your ticket in store for screwfix (or toolstation), the person in front of you proceeds to the counter and asks the assistant the most vague of questions like...

small leak at eaves valley after repair

Thanks tel, yes behind the fascia is a square block of timber nailed into the rafters that sits level with the top of the fascia. Originally the roof was configured in the exact same way but the felt was worn out which led to water damage on th etop edge of the fascia and that square batten...
