It will be a lot easier from under a wooden floor and even possible to use push fit if you leave an access point to get at them later, you can even use crome coated copper to bring the pipes from under the floor to the rad valves,the tappings on towel rads normally face staight down and you will...

Whatever you do dont put push fit (or compression joints) inside a wall, they are almost certain to leak (and it againts regs) . Get your blow torch out and dont forget the flux.

You dont specify which ferroli ,but even the oldest ferroli combi i can find is fitted with an auto air vent, providing its not packed up it will let the air out on its own.

buy a new stopcock then swap the main body on yours providing the seat is ok you have new stopcock

get a heating engineer you will save your self a lot of time and money in the long run. you may have now depressurized the expansion vessel this may now cause problems to the heating if you had left it alone you would have safetly used the heating. you really dont know enough to cure...

do you have good water pressure from the cold taps?

to turn them off turn the valves clockwise but it sounds like yours are duff , you have to drain down and fit new ones.

do a search on three port valve or get someone to have a look, but dont pay 3 grand to bg get qoutes if you want a combi, but your system should be fine with a bit of care

You said the water was off Did any rubbish got in the pipe, its now blocking the filters in the boiler 24cdi is prone to it. need to get an engineer to sort it out :(

Give it a try it might last a couple of hours. Try blocking the vent on the hot water cylinder and changing it to mains fed, just for fun :roll:

Was the old pipework and rads powerflushed before the boiler was installed. If not its poss your new boiler has picked up all the rubbish in the system

Was the system correctly balanced when the boiler was put in ? Your symptoms sound like a badly balance system or a blockage. Also From what i read these boilers will only work at there best if the flow and return temp is right.
