    Whatever you do dont put push fit (or compression joints) inside a wall, they are almost certain to leak (and it againts regs) . Get your blow torch out and dont forget the flux.

    You dont specify which ferroli ,but even the oldest ferroli combi i can find is fitted with an auto air vent, providing its not packed up it will let the air out on its own.

    to turn them off turn the valves clockwise but it sounds like yours are duff , you have to drain down and fit new ones.

    You said the water was off Did any rubbish got in the pipe, its now blocking the filters in the boiler 24cdi is prone to it. need to get an engineer to sort it out :(

    converting vented to sealed system

    Give it a try it might last a couple of hours. Try blocking the vent on the hot water cylinder and changing it to mains fed, just for fun :roll:

    Was the old pipework and rads powerflushed before the boiler was installed. If not its poss your new boiler has picked up all the rubbish in the system

    Do i need anouther pump

    Was the system correctly balanced when the boiler was put in ? Your symptoms sound like a badly balance system or a blockage. Also From what i read these boilers will only work at there best if the flow and return temp is right.
