its a cox but its 50 ohm coax designed for sat signals, normal tv and cctv coax is 57 ohm. ALso the inner core is larger than rg59/u

You could wire a plug into the panel but id advise against it. They are designed to be hard wired into a fused spur. an unswitched one at that

You shouldnt put 2 masters on the same line. If you have an exisiting master in the lounge then you need a slave for the conservatory As previous you need to connect 2 and 5 for the line and 3 for the ring. If you put 2 master you will have issues as there will be too much capacitace on the line

I agree, you will need to reprogram the system and for that you will need a manual or an engineer. Id advise an engineer as they can also fix what caused it in the first place

Its a bad idea to have the control panel on view, apart from it not conforming its the 'brain' of your system and should be central so that the system has activated well before anyone has access to it.

The new Gen4 metal case use the old G2-20 case but are vastly different boards. They keypad was the one that was developed for the cativ8 range (now not gonna be released) The Gen4 is a fine panel but not a galaxy and has no udl or in built communicator options
