SWA - Screwfix have 2.5mm on offer 16.99 for 25m, also cheap on 4mm. Ebay can also be very cheap. B&Q are a rip off. Is there anything that will stop me going over the required cable size if i need to add more in future? Say i need 2.5mm/4.0mm i get 6mm to future proof it?

You can do it with a switched fused spur, do you need the double socket? you could change that into a fcu and then no need for the extra socket. and part p is needed here. :wink:

Yeah i did crafty as always thought that, but it's protected by the elements. How much did yours cost Crafty? I need a 6a, 16a, 32a. No need for RCD as my main board is.

Hi i'm looking for a 3 way garage CU but everyone i've seen are all 2 way. I need it for Lights/Sockets and another for a cable run to shed. the cable will be 4mm so be quite hard to get this into a fcu from the socket run. any ideas?

What make Cu is it Crafty, And what about weatherproof?

Used the waterproof tape it stuck to the wood really easy (it's very sticky stuff) had a problem of it sticking to the felt. But managed it in the again and worked ok. Soon know when it starts to rain.

Hi Mas, Yes it will be like this Timber-> []*--------- <-Roof line So where the * is will be a few mm gap, i dont want to use sealant as would like a neat finish, so thinking the tape would be better. So what tape would you recommend? And what does the pvc look like?

Also is it really that expensive £60 (inc vat and del) for 5 ltr. How long will this go? say i use 4 coats at 50/50 60/40 80/20 100%??

Thanks, I've never used it before is it just like any vanish? Would it need watering down at all? It's to be used on shiplap. Also what color is it, does it stain a little darker than the natural finish i have now?
