    My board is old its marked 1992 so its not a modern circuit, a picture of it is attached. Does it look suitable? Couldn't see a test button? The light fitting does not say its suitable for bathrooms-in this case do I need to look for one that is?

    Thanks for the advice. The shade is metallic There is a basin in the room. The fitting instructions say its double insulated and instruct not to connect to earth is this OK for a bathroom? How do I tell if the circuits are RCD protected, would this be in place already? Thanks
