    I imagine this is just a propane gas bottle to a gas BBQ. This can be done by a a home owner, although I am not familer with these fittings.

    How to get Gas supply from cavity meter box into house?

    The gas pipe certinally can not go in a cavity, however if it's installed behind plaster boards it has to be sleaved and with a continual adisive around the pipe so it is totally sealed. There are some different opinions on this, but that's basically it.

    Yeh I was thinking that last night that's the only way this could happen" not balanced supply's. Cold water coming back up the hot in to the cylinder. Problem is a lot of these cylinder are not fitted correctly with a balancing vlv. God knows why they don't just fit a erasure...

    Boiler problem

    Measure your cold mains flow rate as close to water entry as possible. Imagine you measure 8 lpm you run you tap up stairs at 7 lpm you will only have 1 lpm left to come out of your second outlet.
