your correct it does have a gate value. this is shut, how much should i open it ? when i have opened it in the past there is a rush of water. is this a cold feed ? i am happy with the boiler so not sure what to do now with all your input ?

hi had my new boiler for approx 2 months now and works well? all i ask is we only use the boiler (glowworm flexicom 18 hx ) when we need it. turn it on when we feel cold, we put the hot water on for 2 hours in the morning and maybe 2 hours at tea time. thats all we need ? when we turn it on...

hi all. ok got my new glowworm flexicom 18hx installed. just got the climapro2 rf room thermostat and receiver, will this be a easy fix in the boiler or do i need this smart wiring centre to sort it ? thanks

ok sorted this wire problem out, i missed the hot water sat (link) to the cent heating so now the cent heating works on its own as it should. please note this glowworm boiler has replaced the myson boiler which has been in the house since i moved in 25 years ago. it never had a room thermostat...

yes paid him and he filled in everything on the form etc. gas reg number everything needed. are you all saying i need a room thermostat ? the boiler was ok its just that the c/heating was on at the same time as the hot water.

thanks for the info guys. think i will need to wait till the guy sorts it (away on holiday) the new controller is a salus ep200. for now i have used it this way turn on for a timed 1 hour runs ok burner in and out etc after the hour the controller turns off but boiler will carry on etc
