    could be an intermittent fault - the programmer could be dirty (backplate) or relays inside worn/sticking etc - have you got a multimeter/used one before?

    is the leak from the immersion heater connection? as the air bubble is lost, then the expanded water has nowhere for it to go so can cause a leak, but the expansion valve should OPEN and release the water/pressure - twist the prv/expansion valve and see if it is working your air bubble...

    could be a faulty programmer - on the hw side - then not sending power to the boiler when a demand is made if there are no other controls do you have a wiring centre anywhere near the boiler/airing cupboard/where the pump is?

    could be a rectification problem or gas valve fault even i'd checdk pump first - se if it's running properley - what speed is it on?

    What faults did you come across? PCB's/air pressure switch/fan faults? I once went to a job with an old engineer who I worked with a few times and the Biasi had a new PCB fitted which was also faulty! No power to the air pressure switch!

    It's £400+ mate, but you are on a 3 month probation period. Am I'm not sure what that would entail? I don't do installs so am not sure if service/cp12/repairs would be acceptable in probation period?
