    yep, but what colour wire does it connect to? should the orange be connected to the same terminal as the pump live and cylinder stat wire?

    Had a bit of a disaster this afternoon replacing my faulty motorized valve, i accidentally snagged the cable as i moved and the orange wire got pulled from the junction block, and i dont know where its supposed to go! can anyone please help? its a glow-worm space saver mk2 boiler

    i got the wife to operate the switches on the controller while i monitored the valve. it functioned as it should, is it letting water past? i cant tell by feeling the pipe, its already hot i just checked the b&q reciept, march 2008 i fitted it :roll: could it be anything else?

    the heating is coming on in some but not all radiators upstairs,when CH i turned off at the controller. i've tested the 3 way motorized valve which appears to function correctly and is a b&q MV thats less than 12 months old anyway. faulty tank?

    The last ever possible problem you could have right now is a faulty water tank. It either holds water or it doesn't. If it didn't you would know about it! Sorry I cant make it out ... My ball's too foggy tonight :shock: :lol: These tanks never rot, letting the hot water mix with the CH...

    I dont use the immersion heater, the cylinder stat is clicking at 70 but is set at 55 degrees, is it higher because its failed or because the CH has somehow forced it higher do you think?

    Further info worthy of mention, i have air bubbling up into the CH f and e tank in the loft, a slow trickle every 30 seconds, and all upstairs radiators needed fully bleeding which i've done. where is all the air coming from? if the two events are linked is it a faulty water tank?
