microbore hep2O or equivalent for CH ?

Hi, I need to fit a smaller (less wide, but taller) radiator in the kitchen to get more cupboard/worktop space. I've used what I think is called HEP2O recently and found it very easy to use so I was wondering if anyone knows of a microboar equivalent thats suitable for use in CH systems. It...

    Heating up but not down

sounds like a pump problem to me. Although CH wise I only know what I've read in the last week or so while trying to fix mine. If theres no circulation you wont get heat downstairs and your boiler may overheat and shutdown (would explain the 2 min cycle) but due to the heat rising upstairs...

The pump runs fairly quietly, you can only here it if theres no other noise in the house. I think I might...

The RCD in my parents house is in its own case between the old fusebox and the meter. Also I did say I'd be "looking into getting one" not just "get" one. I intend to spend time learning whats required before attempting anything, the house needs allot of other work so I'm in no hurry. I'm...

baxi 552 only lukewarm, pump problems ?

Hi breezer, thanks for the reply. No, I didn't know you needed to and I havent spotted a bleed screw on it. Its on a vertical pipe as well so I would have thought that it wouldnt need bleeding ?

Hi, I've recently bought a excouncil house that has been empty for a while, at some point (probably while empty) it had a baxi back boiler and fire installled which appears to have never been used. The house needs allot of work and I'm on a tight budget so I'd like to do as much as possible...

Hi, I'm just starting to look into installing a new ring main for the kitchen and utility/wash room and I'm looking for some advice. I'm planning to install 7 double sockets (fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, microwave and the rest are spare) and an oven (hob will be gas) and also replacing...
