    vaillant turbomax 242 pump faulty?

    you will only get a dribble from the pump when you remove the screw. Go through the starting procedure with the screw removed and check if the central spindle of the pump rotates. If it does then it suggests the pumps ok but it might have a sludged up impeller. Chances are u need a new pump.

    baxi 105e no hot water

    as the diaphragm has cold water pressure on one side and system pressure on the other, can i suggest also isolating the flow and return at the boiler and drain the boiler only. could save a small but wet flood!!

    Ok with the boiler cold try running hot water and see if heating flow pie starts to get warm, if it does its a new diverter valve you need.
