we have a old 1930`s house and fitted trv`s on all rads-except the hall one, as we needed a open circuit for when the other trv`s shut the flow down and we fitted a room stat in the hall to control the boiler so the rad there would not need a trv.

equipotential bonding should be a minimum of 10mm csa, the shower earth is rated to handel any current from that circuit only i dont think it would be wise to try and add to it. proper sparks will be along in a mo` as i`m only in training. Ray

The rules change with each edition, could be that it was ok then.

Depending on what shower you have,cable size,type of cu mcb-rcd-rcbo-or rewireable fuse. I think you need to call a sparks for that one. Ray
