    Toilet leak

    No pic yet! Is it the pan connector to the soil pipe inside the house that is leaking? If so there are off set angled and flexi pipes you can get that will do the job. Plumbcentre is youe best bet for these.

    wc tank flush button

    Is the button connected with a cable? If so you need to nip the centre of the fixing on the cistern lid (where the cable is attaced) and they should part......??!!

    Tap Orientation

    Should be hot to left cold to right on traditional or mixers. There is a reason...blind people will not scald themselves in a bathroom / washroom they are not familiar with.

    gurgling waste pipe

    If the bath & basin wastes are joined somewhere it is possible to get water coming from the bath waste when emptying the basin, due to the basin being higher than the bath waste. If it happens the other way around you have a major blockage.

    Sling it>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>if repaired either by welding or compounds when it bursts around the repair (and it will) you may not be in the property to notice it! So then it could be a new rad, new carpet, new flo0r etc. etc.

    Can't find radiators in my size!

    Try your local Plumbcentre....they are in the Yellow pages, they should be able to get you rads within 5mm difference. You could also use teloscopic radiator tails!

    It can be done, make sure you have the maximun fall posible on the pipe.

    Chrome pipe & compresion fittings

    Make sure the olives are pushed back the full distance on the pipe they are normally a bit tighter and this may be your problem.

    loo flushes for ages !!!

    THe float is sticking, it may be catching on the side of the cistern, or it may need adusting, the float will either screw up and down or be on an arm at the end of the arm there is an adusting bolt or screw.

    Yes you can......but keep it out of the bathroom, if installed in a bathroom it should be in a ventillated cupboard.

    It really depends on the make of tap! Try a local Plumbcentre or a B & Q there is "normally" someone with a bit of knowledge in one of them. Good luck!!

    Help - sheered bleed valve

    Don' knock it, you need to drill it out they are normally brass so drill easily. Be carefull not to drill the threaded part of the radiator.....if you start with a small drill once through you may be able to get a small screwdriver or better still an allen key in and remove the rest of it.

    Monoblock Taps

    Often the tap washers on hot taps fail before the one on the cold this is because the heat perishes the centre therefore enabling the washer to become "lazy" on the movement and doe's not travel is correct distance when turning the tap on or off.!!

    Fit an extractor fan with a humidity stat.
