    andyinscotland, So what was your FGA results in the end? Did you adjust the pump pressure? What was the CO2, FGT, PPM etc? Just interested. Have you got a FGA, Smoke Gun, Pressure/Vac gauges? :wink:

    Hi all, If I want to fit an external fire valve to an old existing pipe run and use flared fittings. Will the flaring tool split the old pipe as it could be less flexible than when new. Cheers dudes. 8)

    Point taken Agile, but I have been in the oil trade some 17yrs, although not in servicing/repairs and you have got to start somewhere as you can't buy experience. I have the FGA/printer, Pres/Vac gauges, smoke gun and other essential test kit. I have been on and am going to other makers courses...
