Hi, I have a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24Ri boiler and I have got ripples on the heat exchanger, please see the photo. What causes these ripples to form and does it affect the operation of the boiler? Thanks for any replies.

I would like to replace the handles on my aluminium back door as they are worn and tatty. I have removed the cover plate which is made by UNION and removed the lock but cannot see how the handles are secured, please see pictures. Thanks for any replies.

Here's the new setup fitted on Monday for £290.

I have had a few quotes from £290 - £350 to replace my existing setup with a 17th edition board with RCD protection. Does that sound about right?

I swiched off the RCD on the right but it only appeared to be protecting the sockets in the garage and conservatory.

What type of earthing arrangement/system do you have? How do I tell?

Thanks guys, Will the mini circuit breakers prevent electrocution in the event someone accidentally cuts a lawnmower cable for instance?

I have just moved house and in the garage is a consumer panel but most of the fuses have been taken out and replaced with some sort of breakers. Please see picture. They have just 2 pins on them which plug into the panel. Are these RCD type devices or just resettable current overload type...
