The rad in my bathroom was struggling to warm up so I bled it, problem solved or so I thought, I now have to bleed it once every day for at least five seconds (before the air stops and water starts). I take it this is not normal? This is the only rad in the house that I'm having this problem...

Why not see if any electrical wholesalers in your area will let you stick a poster up advertising your services (so to speak)?

I met a great traffic warden the other day. He let me drive down a pedestrianised town centre road to get to a shop where I had a call out to, told me I could take as long as I liked, I though it was a trap but he was on the level. :D

I found some overcooked bits in a pack of Walker's crisps. I sent the bits back with a polite letter of complaint. A few days later I got a letter back and a twenty pound Walker's voucher! :D

Does anybody know where I can get some free print offs of postcode maps? I want to be able to plan my working day in areas I'm not familar with at a glance, I normally try and go to the furthest job away first and work my way back towards home. My jobs are normally all within the same area on...

The firm I work for (electrical) does pub and shop maintanance/call outs and council work. We're busy (12 of us) for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week + call outs. We're turning down domestic stuff unless it's after hours call outs. Our boss is laughing all the way to the bank. :D
