    Brickwork expansion joints

Spoke with BCO today with info provided from here, and he now states non required for the facing brickwork, but i still need to insert for internal blockwork. Should hopefully be straightforward by cutting out a stip from the plasterboard/blockwork. Tips would help. Cheers

    Brickwork expansion joints

The house is already built, but BCO has requested retrospective movement joints at 6m runs before signing off. Its gonna be a bugger to cut in and stich to internal brickwork. Is he being overzealous as it appears the consensus is that it may not be needed.

Opinions please on this combi install? All ok? Pics attached

Some parts are tidy, yet others are shocking. Condensate should be insulated outside or larger bore. Might see the sleeve inside, but gas run doesn't look sleeved externally. Pointing is shocking. He doesn't need to be a brickie to know the basics of a tidy finish and pride in his work...

    Worcester Gas Rating

    Easiest way 2nd reading - 1st reading = 0.081 m3 eg (over 2 mins) x 30 to give m3/hr = 2.43 m3/hr eg x 10.76 to give KW gross = 26.15 KW gross eg /1.11 to give KW net so 2nd - 1st x 30 x 10.76 /1.11 to give KW net I usually use x 10.7 to give KW gross mj/m3 x 1000...

Cooker ovens - light oven on high, will start flame on low rate and will gradually increase. Confirms liquid exp valve (fsd) is working. If goes straight to full flame, then bellows are jammed open and deemed as at risk. Turn off gas from oven control knob. Relight after 1 min and flame...
