    House Project

I didn't - but I did want a cupboard there and I didn't really want to loose the fan which was installed with the house. I played around with the cupboard thats next to it so it has a false left-hand side inside, leaving the fan able to pull up air from underneath and above the cupboards. I was...

    House Project

Thanks - I am! When I get a chance I'll put up some photos of the upstairs as well. I'm just finishing off the ensuite and then that'll be the last room done. Then its a case of going back round sorting out all the little jobs and finishing touches which need doing.

    House Project

The lounge was the first room I really attempted, being a relatively straight-forward room to sort out. Before: I picked the the worst place for my first try at coving! And what it looked like at the end of last year (apologies for the festive theme!)

    House Project

Well having used these and many other forums fairly extensively over the last year (mainly searching and reading old posts!) I though it was about time to put up a couple of photos. I bought the house two years ago this month, having graduated from uni a few months before. I work in...

    Hard drive capacity.

I'm obviously either a dying breed or a new up and coming one then.... And no, we don't just leave the backup tapes on-top of the server, they actually get taken off-site!!! Though I would agree on us being hypocrites with everything else IT related

    Hard drive capacity.

the joys of computers. avoid them - you'll be better off in the long run  It is interesting taking a HD apart though - providing it's just for fun - to see how it all works. The hard bit is normally attempting to put them back together - the damn magnet can be a real nusiance!

Is System Restore Taking Up A Lot Of Drive Space?

Incidentally, just to doormouse1's post, System Restore files are kept in a hidden folder in the root of your hard disk in a folder called "System Volume Information" (i.e. c:\System Volume Information). In order to see it, go to Control Panel and open the Folder Options item, click on the...

    Hard drive capacity.

Please - buy yourself an external hard disk for 50 quid and just backup to that, either manually or via something like sync toy*. I work in IT for a very well-known uk university and the amount of times I had users home pc's die for one reason or another and they've come to us begging (most...

    Are Plumbworld normally any good?

Well thanks for all of the replies - I've just sent a ranting email back basically saying stuff them and give me my money back. I think I'm just going to give up trying to buy anything at all for the next month. Amazon deliveries can't find me at work (a bloody great big office with it's...

    Are Plumbworld normally any good?

I'm coming round to the same conclusion. think I'll be returning the dodgy door and asking for a refund before going elsewhere. To be fair - I think the damage looks like the doors been dropped on a corner which is more than likely to have been the carriers. I'll be off to TP tomorrow...

    Are Plumbworld normally any good?

Having just ordered a few plumbing bits + a shower and a shower door from them I've found that they've forgot to send the shower and the door is damaged. Not really a good start with using them as all I've got to show is 2 very expensive isolator and check valves.... Have I just had bad...

    Hydrolux shower doors?

Hi, has anyone had any experience with Hydrolux shower doors, or other bits from them? I'm looking at getting one of their bifold doors, but can't find anywhere that stocks them to actually take a look at them and my old-fashioned ways mean I want to look and poke at anything which costs...
