    Hi OP if the new oven has a plug top on it, it´s usually for a reason yeah Check your oven manuals because normally if you cut the plug off you will void your guarantee. You would also have to derate the cooker circuit MCB as a safety measure more than anything else.

    And i can have 20 sockets per circuit, 2 circuits 40 sockets etc etc Here you´d never run an oven on the same ring final circuit. No need for electric fan heater here JohnD, You only fuse plugs because 32A high rated protection for a table lamp. we also can run a lamp, TV, and fan heater safety...
