ah yes, i think understand what you mean here, so when the timeclock is energised the power to the light will go through the contacts on the left hand side is this right? and when the lights are off, and the time clock is off, is it still possible to use the PIR to turn them on? is it ok...

ah right i see, so when the timer is in the off position i take it the lights can still work via the PIR, and because you have the bypass button wired in parrallel, how does that keep the lights going and you see the first cable that goes into the contactor on the left hand side whats that...

no problem is it possible for you to explain then what happens in the drawing how it works please

Ah thats good ye so i take it that the bypass button when pressed keeps the lights because of the timer is that right? and they wont turn off until the timer has timed out is this right? cheers

I am wondering is there any possible way of doing this, I have for lights in a room and i need to use a motion sensor as well as a light switch, but the customer is asking if it is possible for the lights to come on even if the light switch is off, and if you were to leave the room the lights...

sorry people i havent been at a computer to reply, i just have normal fluorescent lights but want to convert them to emergency fittings, which i know means replacing the guts of a fitting but was wondering does anyone know of any good websites that show how it is done?

does anybody know off any good websites thats gives a detailed drawing of how to change a normal fluorescent to a emergency one?

ah nice 1 mate!! so i take the feed comes in to the contactor itself then take a live feed to the the PIR then the switched live from the PIR goes to the A1 which i take it pulls in the contactor?? and the neutral goes to A2 to power the contactor and when the contactors pulls in it supplys the...

could someone draw one??
