Hi all I installed a pyronix system in my home. Works fine, used the brackets for PIRs to mount them in the corners I'm fitting one at my parents and can't get hold of the brackets, but the PIR manual suggests that they can be installed in corners without the brackets. My question is how? And...

Why don't you take it off the wall, fill the hole and put it back?

Assuming there are no other sockets then you don't have a new bt nte. They would fit one if you had erm, phone quality issues ! There's nothing stopping you replacing the wiring to move the socket further, no. Cheers

Where abouts are you? Very easy to do. With a faceplate you can just extend the dsl signal to a slave socket.

I'm no expert so been stupid perhaps. But if there is a wireless rf receiver next to the boiler then how does changing the thermostat make a difference? Surely the cables in the wall are just for power and the switching is done by the receiver next to the boiler ??
