    Pyronix enforcer PIRs

Thanks guys All done. Dead easy without the brackets!! One question though, in this new build house there's a spur under the stairs for alarm. Connected it to this, however there are two twin and earth cables going to there. One was in a connector block and the other just had live and neutral...

    Pyronix enforcer PIRs

Hi all I installed a pyronix system in my home. Works fine, used the brackets for PIRs to mount them in the corners I'm fitting one at my parents and can't get hold of the brackets, but the PIR manual suggests that they can be installed in corners without the brackets. Master socket or not?

Assuming there are no other sockets then you don't have a new bt nte. They would fit one if you had erm, phone quality issues ! There's nothing stopping you replacing the wiring to move the socket further, no. Cheers

Have I blown my boiler electronics?

I'm no expert so been stupid perhaps. But if there is a wireless rf receiver next to the boiler then how does changing the thermostat make a difference? Surely the cables in the wall are just for power and the switching is done by the receiver next to the boiler ??

    Boxing boiler in

Just don't like how the pipes sit off the wall to go to ceiling. And it's a dark grey I've painted so don't think it would look right :/. Might just do as you say and sit something on boiler Bit of wood on wall screwed or bonded then screw the 'cover' into that? If so 6mm ply? And will it...

    Boxing boiler in

Not sure this is the correct place and will upload pics shortly. Painting my utility room, really cannot be bothered to paint behind the pipes above the boiler. So need a solution for either boxing the full boiler in or just the pipes at the top would be fine (boiler isn't that ugly and is in...
