How Do People Afford To Use The Trains?

I know what you mean Whitespirit. Last year the wife had to turn down a job as it would cost £2.5k a year for a rail season ticket to travel from Fife to Edinburgh (a car journey of just 25 minutes). Parking in Edinburgh is almost impossible so you are either having to take 3 busses and leave...

    Happy Pancake Day !

It was at one time Joe, Jif Cream was the cleaner but you also had Jif Lemon too, which could get confusing. Now the cleaner is called Cif (great for cleaning golf irons) and the lemon juice is still called Jif (and still in the little plastic lemon shaped bottle).

    Automatic cars.

Haha, R8 and a scary driver is not a good combo. Mate of mine has a V10 RS6 and I won't get in it with him. I always joke he should give it to me and take my 3 series diesel :D

    Automatic cars.

What? Even the beastly M3 RSG? Can't say I would want to have an old fogie behind the wheel in that. The M3 has to be the most fun you can have fully clothed, even though its an auto.

Is it the end for the Pirate Bay?

I'm torn on this one. I think that freedom of the net needs to remain but I also see file sharing killing the genre of music I like so it's a hard one.

This could solve the economic divide

Until some one (the fried egg shaped face of Ecky Salmond) tells me what Independence actually does for me and my family, then I am happy to remain as is thanks. I work for a firm that is English registered that chooses to primarily base in Scotland and will tax on them be increased by...

Is it time to ban cigarettes/tobacco?

I think this is now under a control order. While still "legal" to Dutch citizens it's no longer freely sold like it used to.

    Barcelona

Messi, 200 games in a Barca shirt and 146 goals. That speaks volumes of the little fella. Last night against Valencia he simply destroyed them, mentally you could see the pain on the Valencia defender's faces at having to cope with him. And then, having chased shadows for 80% of the game Barca...
