    Hi Noseall Many thanks. Yes we are using 440mm x 215mm x 100mm solid dense 7N concrete blocks with a standard cement / sand mortar. Yes the pillars are to be built using complete blocks laid flat on top of each other up to a maximum of 12 blocks high plus mortar beds.

    Hi back box is earthed. grid plate is earthed to back box via earthing wire. face plate screws onto the grid plate - there is no earthing tag on the face plate. Parts came from MK Electric. So as there is no earthing tag there is no requirement to earth ?
