I would be putting 3 100mm butt hinges on the doors especially as they are heavy doors. The 6mm gap shouldnt be an issue but again,if you're taking the doors off again id pack the hinges over a bit.Cut some cardboard from a cereal packet and slip behind the hinges when you re-hang the doors.

Save your time and efforts by hiring a suitable roofing ladder...i wouldn't be too confident climbing onto the roof on a HOMEMADE ladder :shock:

This doesnt answer your question,but if it was me i'd leave that stuff in the garage/shed/cupboard or stick it on flea bay......and buy some lead! Just a personal preference plus lead will be a better finish,easier to use and last for years.
