    Current we have a loft aerial that is hard-wired (at the aerial end) with old, cheap "low-loss" coax cable to the downstairs socket. The cable makes a journey of about 8 metres so I believe replacing it with CT100 would improve signal quality significantly. Not wanting the replace the loft...

    dirt on wall above boiler - should I be worried

    I've noticed some dirty marks on the wall above our (wall mounted) boiler -- should I be concerned -- could this be fumes somehow escaping from the boiler. Oddly the worst mark doesn't go straight up but at about 25 degrees off the vertical from the top of the boiler.
