Hi Quick question. I believe that the regs regarding supp bonding in a kitchen were changed as they found it to be more dangerous when supp bonded. Can anyone explain why this is? And why doesn't it make a bathroom installtion dangerous? Many thanks.

Hi I have personally never seen an rcbo rated over 40A (I stand to be corrected). It might be a case of fitting an external rcd if you have no luck of getting one.

I know that (although someone should remind them). I never said it was a reg - just good practise.

nestor - thanks for the advice but... It is a cricket score board which has pulley things for the score. The paint is just to renew the look of the hut as it is looking very faded etc. Thanks

It is not a reg but it is regarded as good practice to bond kitchen sinks and boiler pipes - so I am informed. We for one supplementary bond all our sinks. Maybe when the 17th edition comes out things will change?

Is the clamp on the pipe a standard electricians clamp? Is the pipe lead? If so I have found that if you ring them up and say that there is an electrical clamp on the lead pipe they are out sharpish!

a friends episode springs to mind when that happened with chandler and monica - he turned it on to a documentary about sharks. Monica was convinced he had a thing for sharks, so she got a shark outfit! V funny.

Agree with Moz - should have more than 12 weeks - maybe 12 years. Unfortunately dangerous driving etc have lenient sentences :x . He will get his comeuppance - they all do. N 2

Spiders for me - don't mind small ones but don't like big ones. Don't like the way they move. I enjoy watching documentaries on them though. And I don't mind if one is in the same room as me - as long as its not next to me or on me. Its strange where I grew up there were loads of little jumping...
