Hi This may be a stupid question but... If you have a 100A main fuse, you have a 100A main incomer. But why in a split load is the RCD always less? Why not make it 100A too? Thanks.

Hi all Went to do a job yesterday where the client wanted her garage electrics redone. Discovered the garage supply was fed off a 45A mcb. The supply was 1.5mm from mcb to boiler, then to garage. The cable to the garage was hanging between the two wall (house and gargage) within arms reach...

Notb I only use one of these "evil" leads because thats what was bought for the dog. I don't see much difference between an extendable and non extandable one - depends on where you take the dog for a walk and on the individual. As for messing on peoples lawn etc then they should be fined - £50!

We have an extendable dog lead - but the misses doesn't like to wear it in public :lol: . No seriously now - I don't see how it makes much difference. It has a locking mechanism on it so you can control the length of the lead. Personally I don't see why you would have an issue with someone...
