Is it a legal requirement to test MCB/RCD/RCCB/RCBOs etc in Industry?? Just I work in a factory, and since I've been here not one has been tested for correct functionallity. If it is a legal requirement, under which legislation does it come under? Cheers

It wasnt one fault really though. It was a pressure switch replacement and pressure vessel needed repressurising. Also, the second engineer gave me a free electronic timer as that wasnt working.

I didnt mind the two visits, as its a one off payment and they keep coming until its working.........well, within 21days.

Ive got the same boiler.....and need a new one really. But the fan should be running all the time! Plus I had the same problems as you, and a British Gas engineer replaced the pressure switch and it fired up every time after that!

Top Drawer :lol: I thought the drain valve was maybe on the boiler somewhere. Obviously not! There is one radiator with a valve on it. Looks like the valve on the left, but mine has been soldered on to the vertical pipe on the outfeed side of the radiator.....is that it? I presume...

Ok thanks Tony. Where do I find the drain valve? I know that will sound dumb, but ive never looked at boilers before. How will I know its open, would the remaining 0.8Bar of water in there drain down? Hence I'd know ive opened the right valve. Cheers
