    Stuck Valves

They do get stuck, dont bother with it as it will snap off and then your stuck. Just turn either valve off and remove the small rad, empty it, re-connect and then re-fill, this should get the inhibitor in the system.

    Cold rads upstairs

you should have a cylinder, a large tank that feeds that, and a smaller one for the central heating water. check the small tank, as this is the one that is poss empty. also check the pump IS spinning.

    Worcester-Bosch or Glowworm?

hmmm, already worked on breakdowns from the g/w range, only 3-4 years old, mainly design faults, plastic washers failing, filling loops breaking and plated heat exchangers splitting, not worked on any w/b yet of that age. You get what you pay for, thats why bosch and vaillant are more expensive.

    Cold rads upstairs

Does it do your hot water too? If so then it must be valved off for the heating, and that could be the problam, its in the resting position for hot water and not opening to allow heating. Do you have a motorised valve?

    cold radiator

yes! open it till the pressure gets to 1 Bar, then close, some times they may be two cocks, if so open both. Fill to 1 Bar, then bleed and check pressure again, top up if req. Then try running system.

    Cold rads upstairs

check the header tank is full of water, and that the ballcock hasn't stuck up giving impression tank is full. header tank is small on usaully in loft or a high cupboard, is the pump turning? you say you bled the pump, try to see if the pump rotor is turning with a small screw driver.
