    cold radiator

hi, not enough information, what make is your boiler? Is t a combi and do you mean the tank is the copper cylinder? Can you see any type of filling loop, usually silver bendy pipe near the gauge? Sounds like low system pressure, and maybe slight air lock preventing rad from filling or water...

    Worcester-Bosch or Glowworm?

Admit i also fit the vaillant eco tec plus 631, very good boiler, would admit they are slightly better than the 30si, but slightly more expensive too.

Unvented water off a combi boiler?

Would it be possible to fit an Unvented Hot water Cylinder off a Combi Boiler (both in loft) just to supply a bath and shower? I could zone of the cylinder from the heating side so only heating this Cylinder when hot water is req from it?

    COMBI BOILER, PRESSURE TOO HIGH

Another problam is a blockage on the pipe from the expansion vessel, there for cutting the vessel out of the system altogether (usually a flexy silver pipe simlar to a filling loop tube, although can be copper too), if this is blocked with debri then water can only expand back into the system.

    Worcester-Bosch or Glowworm?

Totally agree. But i think the cheap boilers are more of the wickes type or lesser known brands (heatline etc) which the cowboys would go for. I would back a Junior against a glowworm fitted by the book anyday, but engineers have their favourites for their own reasons.

    Worcester-Bosch or Glowworm?

So if my customer cant afford a 35cdi and accepts my quote of a 30si that makes me a poor installer then eh?? i'd sooner spend 1200 - 1500 on having a 28i rather than an biasi or ravenheat for the same price.

    Worcester-Bosch or Glowworm?

I've fitted around 30 Worcester-Bosch's this year, and all customers are more than happy, they in my opinion must better than glowworm full stop. The 30si is a better option, as it has a better flow rate than the 28 and also a hotwater thermostat, which the 28 doesnt, and not all that more...

240 VOLTS ON NEUTRAL CONECTION OF FAN

Yes fair enough, but that does't explain 240v down the neutral to earth? And, 240v down the live to earth, yet fan doesn't run. Wheni first got there i followed fault finding chart, it said 240v at live to earth? - yes, then change fan!!

240 VOLTS ON NEUTRAL CONECTION OF FAN

so with this particular boiler, after all external controls are calling, the fan is the first thing to operate, (pump external) so the fault lies wth the external contols then? An electrition was used to check the house and he says there are no faults with the house wiring? Could it simply be a...

240 VOLTS ON NEUTRAL CONECTION OF FAN

What would cause a boiler to supply 240v down the neutral wire to the fan? Boiler was fan flued old g/w space saver, 240v down live and also down neutral (neutral to earth 240v - live to earth 240v) Any help would be very helpful.

biasi m90e.24s - no heating, water ok.

nothing works when heating turned on, water ok. No external controls, green light flash's as normall (left one) could the built in time clock be faulty? No pump or fan operates, nothing at all?
