    help with RCD

    have you tried dropping sockets off to see of any sign's of damage, but then again u meeger it you know if theres a fualt there, remember to disconnect rcd if you megger from socket side not fuseboard side.

    trunking/conduit

    Hi, is there no way of him doin trunking in corners or rooms etc rather than outside, if he uses MT2 (SA2) and uses decorators caulk on top and bottom of trunking, with a lick of paint you wont know its there. Just a thought as its not something i would do personnaly but everyones different :D

    water in ducting from shower extractor fan

    you say you have a 4meter run now iv never had this prob before but i belive the max duct you should run is 3 meters well so say the manufactures manuals.

    Help needed

    does not matter what way you wire it a dimmer cannot be wire wrong i.e with a switch if you put the load in common and line in L1 the switch will be upside down.

    Shower pull switch

    greater than 2.5mtrs high and 300mm away from edge of bath is fine, i generally install nearer the door next to an exsistin pull cord for lights and shorten cord or add a switch out side if customer wants it.
